CSQ’s Debussy Quartet Project aims to explore the coloristic possibilities of Debussy’s piano pieces by transforming them into string quartets. CSQ premiered its original transcriptions of Debussy’s iconic preludes Ondine, Des pas sur la Neige, and Danse de Puck in 2018. The popular success of these forays into the Preludes has inspired us to plan for a transcription of a complete set of 12 Debussy piano Preludes.
